Mr. Ashok Kumar Jha has over 14-years of experience as a Development Professional associated with an NGO called PRADAN as Team Coordinator. He has worked on the Community institution building and capacity building, Rural Livelihood promotion in different geography of Jharkhand for 12 years. He has worked closely with government agencies like the Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS), Rural Development Department, Government of Jharkhand, and Jharkhand Tibal Development Society (JTDS), Department of Welfare, Government of Jharkhand on Agriculture production cluster, Climate-resilient Agriculture, Natural farming, Agro-Ecological practices, Integrated Natural Resource Management, FPO promotion, etc.
Ashok has developed many knowledge materials for the training of trainers, and Agri Smart Village, a Scheme for the Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative, Government of Jharkhand under the organisational Partnership. He is a master trainer for Natural farming, certified by the National Institute of Agriculture Extension Management, MANAGE, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer Welfare, and Ministry of Rural Development. Currently, he is engaged with the Deendayal Antyoday Yojna-National Rural Livelihood Mission (DAY-NRLM) as a livelihood Expert in Farm Livelihood under Partnership with PRADAN NSO and DAY-NRLM, MoRD, and based at New Delhi.
